    ***The Best Western Golden Spike Inn & Suites will be closing for the season November 8th,2008 will reopen mid March 2009.*** Hill City, located in the heart of the Black Hills National Forest, is your central vacation location - only minutes to Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorial. Enjoy local tours, fishing and trail rides. Custer State Park, Needles Highway and numerous other attractions are only a short driving distance from Hill City. Best Western Golden Spike Inn & Suites is family owned and operated, as is our restaurant, and we are a recipient of the South Dakota Great Service Award. Whether traveling for business or leisure, guests at the Best Western Golden Spike Inn & Suites will enjoy our indoor pool and hot tub facility. If you would rather be outside, you can relax near our outdoor heated pool or on our sundeck. Our garden area is a wonderful, quiet location to have a picnic. Our property is 100 percent non-smoking. We also serve Seattle's Best coffee and espresso drinks. If you decide to bring your pet along with you, we have a limited number of designated rooms for you and your pet. All we require is a small non-refundable fee of $10 per day per pet. We do ask that you do not leave your pet unattended in the room. Our property also has an exercise area for your pet so they may run around and enjoy their vacation too. We look forward to having your whole family as our guests!
