| The Romantik Waldhotel Mangold is a private hotel for discerning guests. The family has been offering polished, but modern Bergische hospitality for three generations. Guests have ample possibilities for relaxation and re-charging in this beautiful landscape. The hotel has been regularly enlarged and modernized without losing its traditional character. The Waldstuben restaurant is known far beyond the local area as a lure to those who appreciate fine food. Our kitchen team use only fresh products to create light, innovative dishes. The Waldhotel is overlooked by Castle Bensberg in Milchborntal on the edge of a forest. The hotel enjoys a convenient but peaceful, rural location just a few minutes from the motorway junction at Koeln-Ost. Our guests therefore do not need to sacrifice the business and cultural attractions of Cologne to enjoy the glorious Bergische Land countryside. All our rooms are designed to ensure maximum comfort and convenience for our guests. They are all thoughtfully decorated and have bath, shower, WC, direct telephone line, modem connection and cable TV. Added to this, our rooms have splendid views to the woods. All non-smoking rooms have the latest range of Treca beds. The brand new non-smoking suite is equipped to the highest standard with restored antiques. |
